A desktop file manager for S3-compatible object storage. Browse, upload, download, and organize files with a familiar interface — no CLI needed.
S3 File Manager gives you a visual interface to manage your Spaces buckets without memorizing AWS CLI commands or writing scripts.
Access keys are encrypted by your operating system's secure storage. Your credentials are never stored in plain text.
Tree sidebar for fast bucket switching. Breadcrumb trail, back/forward history, and double-click navigation — just like Finder or Explorer.
Drag-and-drop uploads with support for large files. Batch download multiple files at once. Background transfer queue with real-time progress.
Preview images, video, audio, PDFs, and code files directly in the app. Syntax highlighting for 20+ programming languages.
Rename, copy, move, delete with confirmation dialogs. Create folders. Calculate folder sizes recursively.
Generate time-limited public download links for any file. Configurable expiry. One-click copy to clipboard.
Save credentials for multiple Spaces regions or accounts. Switch between them in one click without re-entering credentials.
Toggle between themes from the toolbar. Preference is saved and restored on next launch.
Power-user shortcuts for every common action — select all, upload, download, rename, delete, navigate. No mouse required.
S3 File Manager connects to any endpoint that speaks the S3 API — not just AWS.
Quickly inspect bucket contents during development, upload build artifacts, manage static site assets, or retrieve log files — without leaving your desktop.
Marketing, design, and content teams can manage media assets in Spaces without needing CLI access or custom tooling.
Browse backups, audit stored objects, generate presigned URLs for clients, and manage bucket configuration from a single pane.
Download the installer, add your Spaces credentials, and start browsing.
Grab the portable .exe (no install needed) or the NSIS installer from the Releases page. Run it — no account or license required.
Click New Profile on the connection screen. Enter your Spaces endpoint (e.g. sgp1.digitaloceanspaces.com), region, Access Key, and Secret Key.
Click Test Connection to verify credentials, then Connect. Your buckets appear in the sidebar immediately.
